Hail to the Victors, Vanquished—CFB Week 2.

It is painfully obvious, that while Michigan has talented players, speed, size and skill, the two things they don’t have are heart and coaching.  A couple of scores by Oregon, and the Maize & Blue rolled over and played dead. Any doubt that Lloyd Carr was gone at the end of the year has been removed, now we’re going to be treated to a 12 week death-watch as he twists, slowly in the wind.  Les Miles, Bill Cowher, Greg Schiano and Jeff Tedford are the early names mentioned as a replacement.

Week 2 CFB Observations. Notre Dame is awful, 3-4 more losses and they’ll be ineligible for a BCS bowl. LSU looks unbeatable, and although they haven’t played anybody yet, with the talent they have, only poor coaching could…oh, wait, they have Les Miles, nevermind. For every three good throws Brandon Cox makes, he has two where the entire stadium asks, “What the heck is he doing?”, Auburn will not be a factor in the SEC West as long as he is the QB. Has there ever been a crucial call that has gone against Texas? For the second week in a row, the zebras were wearing Burnt Orange, and making sure that the ‘Horns pulled it out. Can anyone in the Big 12 stay with Oklahoma? Hats off, to Turner Gill and Buffalo for getting a win against Temple. UPSET WATCH for Week 3, Ohio at Va. Tech., Louisville at Kentucky, and  Ohio State at Washington.
