Nominee #2 for the Idiot of the Year Award, is Judge Marilyn Patel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California (who would have thought, an idiotic court ruling from California.) Why Judge Patel, you may ask, well this jewel of the judiciary has certified a class-action suit against Target Corp. because their web site is inaccessable to the blind! According to the ruling, Target.com violates federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination against the disabled.
To follow this sterling logic, here are some other potential defendants and why they should be sued: Toothpaste manufacturers, they discriminate against the toothless (and/or Arkansans); Shoe manufacturers, obvious discriminators against those without legs; Brush manufacturers certainly are discriminatory toward bald people (oops, I meant the hair impaired); and just think of the trauma forced on the color-blind among us, as they look at a box of Crayola’s!
I’m sure that somewhere in this vast land of opportunity, one of America’s finest ambulance-chasers (John Edwards, are you reading) is preparing the paperwork. I’ll bet they have Judge Patel’s clerk on speed dial.

I think the law suit is ridiculous, but there’s something about seeing those Christmas hating Frenchies at Target getting sued that pleases me!

Everyone involved including the judge, plantiffs and their families should be put in jail for this stupid waste of our money.

HA HA HA! Jack makes a great point. They kicked the Salvation Army out of the place a couple of years ago and seem to hate all things Christmas, Christian, American etc. Good enough for them. Libs made this a PC world that is happiest when people are in court. Live with it.
