We’ve all heard the jokes, “What do you call 10,000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea…”, well this story’s no joke. In Casselberry, FL, 1 year old Joey Cosmillo wandered into his backyard and fell into the family pool, and while rescuers were able to bring him back to life he suffered severe brain damage. Now, being unable to walk, talk, or even swallow, he is in a nursing home where he will probably live out the rest of his life.
As tragic as this story is, the actions of one of the rescuers, Casselberry police Sgt. Andrea Eichorn, is just disgusting. Sgt. Eichorn is suing the parents of this little boy becaused she slipped during the rescue and hurt her knee, accusing them of negligence because there was water on the floor! Her attorney, one David Heil, claims she is a victim. “Her knee aches and she will probably develop arthritis. It’s a situation where the Cosmillos haved caused these problems, brought them on themselves, then tried to play the victim” he said. What a piece of crap this guy is!
Although this innocent little boy, can’t sit, can’t eat, and can’t see, he has something that Sgt. Eichorn and her attorney don’t and probably never will - a heart.

This is the lastest example of a case where the plantiff should charged and placed in jail. If the people of this city do not rise up and force the department to fire this officer as appears may be happening in the relatred articles, then they deserve what they get. You have to take a stand against these sort of evil, heartless, money grubbing people.
